MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — Nick Collins pitched a no-hitter in the first game and Florence hammered out 15 base hits and run-ruled Murrells Inlet 17-3 in five innings in the second one to sweep an American Legion baseball doubleheader on Tuesday night.

Post 1 (13-0) also ended the first game early, winning 10-0 in five innings behind Collins and more big offense.

In the second game, Will Hardee allowed three runs in four innings to earn the win.

Lindsey Robinson was 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI, while Jon-Mitchell Carter was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Noah Matthews had a homer and three RBI.

In the first game, Post 1 had four home runs, including a first-inning grand slam by Carter. Hardee, Robinson and JD Munford also went deep.

Collins allowed two walks, hit a batter and struck out four.

Post 1 hosts Conway at 6 p.m. today in a doubleheader.

 Camden 4       Hartsville 3

 HARTSVILLE — Jay Lynch struck out 11 in eight innings and Chase Galloway and Justin Dorton each knocked in runs for Camden.

Lynch gave up two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks.

Steve Joyner had four hits for Hartsville.

 CAMDEN — Hartsville's Harrison Hawkins went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Post 53 scored five runs in the top of the ninth to rally from a 5-2 deficit.
